About Cedar

Cedar High School opened on September 2nd, 2020 as we welcomed our first class of students to the school. Due to the global pandemic, students began their classes online, through the K12 platform.  Beginning second trimester, the instruction will be primarily through project based learning in interdisciplinary classes, utilizing the ECHO platform (similar to Google classroom). We feature live lessons every day, opportunities to connect with peers, and great support from teachers. In addition, students are participating in activities to build a positive community and develop the culture of the new school.

Cedar appeals to students who want a smaller, personalized learning environment that is centered on their needs and learning styles. The development of this school has been guided by the core values of equity, respect, wellness, creativity, and resiliency, and the vision is to inspire students to be active, engaged citizens in their community and advocates for their own futures.
